iPE Wheels Attends Porsche Club Victoria Track Day at Sandown Raceway

iPE Wheels joined Porsche Club Victoria for a packed track day event at Sandown Raceway, showcasing our forged magnesium wheel lineup trackside alongside some of the finest Porsche builds in attendance.

Located within the pit area, the iPE Wheels booth drew strong interest throughout the day from drivers, enthusiasts, and track-focused owners looking to learn more about the benefits of forged magnesium wheel technology. Visitors had the opportunity to view our wheel designs up close, discuss fitment options, and experience the lightweight engineering behind the iPE Wheels lineup.

One of the highlights from the event was a Porsche 992 GT3 RS equipped with our satin black MFR-02 forged magnesium wheels, seen both in the paddock and out on track throughout the day. Designed with performance-focused driving in mind, the setup featured:

Front: 20x10J — 7.64 kg (16.84 lbs)
Rear: 21x13J — 9.8 kg (21.61 lbs)

By reducing unsprung and rotational mass, forged magnesium wheels provide improved steering response, braking feel, suspension reaction, and overall driving dynamics, particularly in demanding track environments such as Sandown Raceway.

The atmosphere throughout the event reflected the growing interest in lightweight performance solutions within the Porsche community, with many attendees stopping by the booth to learn more about magnesium wheel construction, specifications, and available applications for their own vehicles.
